KO SAMET

Favored with the mildest, squeakiest sand inside weekending separation of Bangkok, the minor island of Ko Samet, which measures only six kilometers from top to toe, is a most loved departure for Thais, expats and visitors. Its 14 little yet radiantly white shorelines are stunningly excellent, lapped by light blue water and in spots still shaded by coconut palms and the infrequent cajeput (samet) tree that gave the island its name. They are likewise, in any case, rather stuffed and created to full limit, so don't come here expecting a separated break.
